Transferring Ownership of a Workspace

A step-by-step guide on transferring an ownership of a workspace.

Transferring Ownership of a workspace means that you are transferring who will pay the subscription for the workspace.

If you need to give someone permissions to access all of the workspace (except billing), simply grant them all of the permissions found on Roles and they can also use Hyra like a workspace owner.

Before we start...

You'll need to prepare the following:

  • You must cancel your existing subscription to the workspace. For more information on cancelling your subscription, click here.

  • Your new owner must be registered with Hyra.

Please note of the following limitations below:

  • It is not possible to transfer the subscription itself.

  • When transferred, any remaining credits or time are non refundable.

Submitting a Request

Once you've got everything, it's time to submit your request. Simply reach out to the support team by clicking the chat button found on the lower-right corner of the app. Let Henry know that you would like to transfer ownership of the workspace and would like to talk to a human.

Once you've contacted the support team, they will be requesting the following information from you:

  • The name of the Workspace:

  • The username and Roblox user ID of the new owner:

  • The reason for the transfer:

Once done, the support team will create a Workspace Transfer Request where you can track the status of your workspace ownership transfer.

Activating the Workspace

Once we've transferred the ownership of the workspace to the new owner, the new owner will need to purchase the subscription themselves. Rest assured that everything (like Logbook) will stay intact after the workspace transfer.
