Feedback Boards

Written by Carl Goco

A 'board' allows you to categorise different types of feedback (e.g. Feature Requests and Bug Reports) and apply different set of statuses and categories between them.

⚠️ You'll need the Workspace Administrator permission to create Feedback Boards.

Creating a Feedback Board

To create a feedback board, go to Workspace Settings and under Feedback, select Boards. On this page, click ' + Create board ' to create a board.

Customising a Board

To customise a board, simply click the pencil (✏️) icon next to any of the boards.

General

In the general section, you are able to change a board's name, URL slug, description, and whether the board is enabled.

What is a 'slug'?

A slug is the part of a URL that points to a specific board. For example, for a feature request board, you can set the slug as 'feature-requests' and the link to the board will be: app.hyra.io/feedback/UTeZFFBG/feature-requests

Categories

You are able to create sub-categories to further organise your feedback into specific topics, whether it is for a specific experience or a particular area.

Stages

A 'Stage' tracks the status of feedback. As no two feedback types are the same, community managers can set different stages per board to follow their development process.

When a stage is changed on a post, the creator and any users who upvoted it will receive an email regarding its status.
